#100happydays : DAYS 41-50

I can't quite believe it: I've reached the half way point!

Final year is really killing me at the moment and I know it's only going to get worse, so I'm appreciating this challenge more and more with each 10 days that passes.

If you'd like to join in then you can find out more information here, and see what's been making me smile for the past 50 days here.

16th February 2014
41/100 - TODAY TODAY TODAY! The BAFTAs are my favourite night of awards season by far!

17th February 2014
42/100 - Best Vanity Fair Hollywood cover ever.

18th February 2014
43/100 - Her was such a fantastic film: so funny, touching and clever. It's like nothing I've ever seen before and I completely loved it!

19th February 2014
44/100 - Latest obsession: My Mad Fat Diary. Can't remember the last time I watched such a funny and surprisingly emotional show.

20th February 2014
45/100 - Tea for two.

21st February 2014
46/100 - Issues with historical accuracy and an extremely melodramatic score aside, The Monuments Men was a solid film. Well worth a watch!

22nd February 2014
47/100 - Early night with magazines and one of my favourite films. Let's go fishing!

23rd February 2014
48/100 - Sunday cinema trip. Tom Hiddleston was born to play a romantic, suicidal vampire and Tilda Swinton was perfection as always. However it was a bit slow, and despite lacking a decent, developed plot Only Lovers Left Alive was a stylish take on the vampire genre. I liked it, but can't pinpoint exactly why...

24th February 2014
49/100 - After a day of editing dissertation notes, time for an enormous cup of tea and an Empire catch up. Bliss.

25th February 2014
50/100 - Much needed motivation from #ELLEinspire.

I hadn't realised quite how film-centric the last 10 days had been for me until I saw all the photos together - surely that's a clear indication of exactly what makes me happiest…

50 days down, 50 to go...
